NEATitems.com does not send unsolicited email, especially not email with viral attachments. We do not even keep a mailing list. You may have received an email or emails that appear to be sent from us but are not. Many truly evil people with nothing better to do than make life miserable for others send out these bogus and malicious emails.
Below is an example of a spoofed email that we received with a virus attached.

Here is a sample of the header that was used on some emails sent from "sam@neatitems.com". There is no Sam at NEATitems.com. This was a spoofed email. It was returned to us because the spoofer used our web address as a return address and the email contained a virus caught by the receivers anti-virus software.

There are a lot of viruses and worms out there now which send huge volumes of virus infected messages with the "from" address spoofed. Here at NEATitems.com we receive several hundred spam emails everyday. Most are just useless ads for prescription pills, mortgage refinance, porn sites, well you know what I'm talking about. Unfortunately, we also receive emails that appear to be from reputable companies such as CitiBank, eBay, PayPal and NEATitems.com that are spoofs and contain viruses or worms.
Please delete these without opening the attachment and if you are running Microsoft software, be sure to keep your anti-virus protection software up to date.
I want to show you one more spoofed email that I received while writing this page. Everything looks pretty legit. I'm sure if you click on the link to 'verify' you identity, the fake web site somewhere in Asia will look pretty legit too. Don't fall for this scam!

You are not going to find a miracle diet pill, achieve financial freedom, grow more hair, get free money from Bill Gates, grow a larger penis or bigger boobs, split $40 million in cash with someone from Nigeria, get a date, or slash your debt by responding to any spam email. All you are asking for is trouble. Simply use your delete button.
