Safety Information: The Pro Gardening Auger System makes your garden work easier and like any tool, it must be used in a safe manner. Loose clothing should not be worn while operating the Pro Gardening Auger. It is important that you use the Pro Gardening Auger correctly so as to minimize the flinging and throwing of rocks, dirt and other objects. Safety glasses should be worn by the user and anyone else in the work area. Always keep a firm grasp of the drill with both hands. The drill will often develop a very strong torque or wrist twisting action. We urge you to always grip the drill firmly with both hands while operating the Pro Gardening Auger. Never start the drill with the Pro Gardening Auger lodged or dug into any material to prevent injury due to high initial torque. Always use the locking pin when using the extension. Always use lower speed to start.

Attaching the Pro Gardening Auger to the drill:

·        Unplug the drill from the power supply.

·        Insert the end of the Pro Gardening Auger or extension fully into the chuck jaws of the drill.

·        Tighten the chuck jaws as per the drill manufacturer’s instructions.

Tips for using the Pro Gardening Auger:

·        Use your drill in the forward rotation position only. Do not use reverse.

·        Slowly depress the trigger of the drill. Repeat this step several times at various speeds until you are familiar torque and action of the Pro Gardening Auger.

·        Place the tip of the Pro Gardening Auger on the dirt, keeping the Pro Gardening Auger in an upright position.

·        Start drilling the dirt slowly until you familiarize yourself with the tool.

·        To dig in hard soil such as clay and compacted soil, tap up and down with the tip of the auger to break into the soil. Use slight downward pressure. If downward pressure is increased, be aware that the drill torque or twisting action will also increase. Find a comfortable drill speed range to work in.

·        The Pro Gardening Auger does the work for you. Soon you will learn its capabilities and adjust your work speed so as not to overload your drill.

Manufacturer’s Lifetime Warranty: If for any reason the Pro Gardening Auger System is ever damaged, even if the fault is yours, you may return it to the manufacturer for free replacement (a shipping and handling charge is required.)
